Motorola Razr : Things you should know before you buy.

Motorola Razr: Things you should know before you buy.

Motorola Razr remember the stylish and slick mobile from Chinese giant Motorola in 2004. Ever since its launch, everybody tried to get their hands on the model due to its weight to size ratio. The phone had tons of features like 2.2" TFT screen, the Aluminum anodized body which weighed just 95g. Motorola had various models from Razr the v3i, Q3, V3x, K1, V8 & V3xx.

Now after almost 15 years Motorola has bumped back in the market by resurrecting the classic flip phone 'Razr. What makes this phone so special find out below.

After Samsung and Huawei, Motorola Razr is the third major flip Smartphone in the market.

A Tall vertical foldable device that makes the design first of its kind over the Tablet which opens, unlike a book.

Having said that below are the things you should consider before you make a purchase of Motorola Razr.

The phone is expected to be launched in India by 20th January 2020, it is already available for the Chinese market. The phones unfolded dimension are 172 x 72 x 6.9 mm and when folded it measures at 94 x 72 x 14 mm. The phone weighs 205g and has a splash proof body that is fair enough during monsoon or little showers when used outdoors.

It has 6.2 inches P-OLED display which makes it 70.2% body to screen ration, with an 876 x 2142 resolution and approximate 373 PPI density. Moto Razr is powered by Qualcomm SDM710 Snapdragon 710 processor. It has an internal built-in memory of 128 GB with 6 GB Ram the phone does not have any external memory slot which according to me is common with every premium phone.

Speaking about the Main camera it has 16 MP with f/1.7, 1.22 um dual pixel PDAF TOF (Time of flight)0 3D Camera which helps you to click pretty decent pictures with a better depth of field similar feature can also be seen in Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.

Other features include Dual LEd, Panorama, Dual Tone flash. You can also record UHD (2160p) videos at 30 fps, FHD (1080p) at 30 fps.

On the other hand, the Front or the selfie camera is just 5 MP, f/2.0 1.12um with no led at front images or videos would be a bit grainy in low light however you can record FHD videos i.e 1080p at 30 fps with it.

Other features like a loudspeaker, 3.5 mm jack, charger are pretty common unlike other brands however one thing disappoints me is that the battery. The phone has a 2510 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.   With such loaded features 2510 mAh is not enough you need to charge the phone at least twice a day according to me it should have been 3500 mAh.

One more thing to consider the being a vertical flip model will it be comfortable holding for gamers to play games like PUBG,Call of Duty, Mine craft will the phone keep on flipping or will it remain sturdy answers to this question will be known only when the phone is made available in India until then keep guessing.

Globally the phone is available at USD 1500 which is roughly 1.07 Lakh rupees. As per experts the price Motor Razr could be some where around 1.35 Lakh since it's not going to be manufactured in India.  Is the phone worth that price? Will Motorola succeed to capture the Indian market once to know we need to wait till Jan 2020.

So hope this article has helped you to find answers about Motorola Razr.
