The formal and Semi-formal is often the most common style mistake men do especially if you are a novice. Here we have compiled a list of  8 worst style mistakes men make which will help you to dress up better and look smart and trendy.

1. White Athletic Sock.

Isn't it a nightmare to see your drawer stacked nothing but with an endless supply of white gym socks? But why do we hate them so much? Just because they easily get dingy, look cheap but wait for you shouldn't be wearing exercise sock with the suit or apparel.

Here's the tip - If you aren't getting sweaty, then don't break out on that white Athletic sock.

Consider picking up some brown dress or classic black sock - or snag some fun with colorful pairs that will make you add some personality.

2. Trousers Too Long.

Baggy trousers with too much break certainly do two things well, they either look too much sloppy or shorter. However for some full break can be acceptable but even that is outdated now.
We suggest you opt for a trouser that barely skims the top of your shoe.

You may even get it cuffed or trims by your tailor if you want to flaunt your shock collection.

3. Too Long Jacket Sleeves.

The right way a jacket to fit should be just about your wrist bone allowing 1/2" of the shirt to be seen. It's tough though to find one such jacket that would fit your perfectly it's even tougher to find a man who would take an effort to correct this ill-fitted jacket from a tailor.

4. Too Many Shirt Buttons.

Don't you agree that doing buttons all the way up without wearing a tie looks way too odd, but be mindful letting it lose?

Never unbutton more than two buttons of the shirt otherwise you would end up looking unprofessional.

5. Shirt Too Baggy.

This is the ultimate mistake we make. Wearing an oversized shirt makes you look fat, plumper and stumpy.
Always make share that the collar should have room for two figures. The shoulder seams should hit your shoulder, and no extra fabric should hit your billowing your torso.

These days there are tons of options available that fit your body type so ill-fitting shouldn't be much of a problem anymore. - You may check here for better options.

6. Buttoning Too Many Jacket Buttons.

Always unbutton the bottom button on your suit for a more natural and comfortable movement.

However, it's still a mystery for me why the bottom button is provided in the first place if it's mended to unbutton? I believe some mysteries should be kept unanswered unless it is much of a concern for us.

7. Keeping The Undershirt Visible.

Just like underwear the undershirt should never be visible. Opt for a V neck undershirt if you like to unbutton top two buttons of your shirt.

It's always to have no undershirt than the one on display. There are plenty of options available today where you can have an undershirt and be your own comfort zone.

8. Tie Too Long and wide.

This rule has very little room for the wiggle. The right position for your tie is to end between the top and bottom of your belt buckle.

You can avoid making yourself look amateurish and bring your tie to a correct length. Try these four knots sizing in order from smaller to longer, Half — Windsor, Four- in — Hand and the Windsor.

Likewise is the case with its width. The 1992 fashion is long gone and outdated it's time for your to update your fashion, the generally accepted width, these days ranges from 2.25 inches to 3.25 inches.

Consider your body type and lapel width before you make your move.
